5.0 out of 5 stars Best Anakin figure yet!
I ordered Anakin Tatooine Attack, along with Yoda, off of Amazon.com. This Anakin figure has great likeness to Hayden Christensen. He stands up fine on his own, and he has a "Jedi Power Kick" which works pretty well. You have to position his legs together and then press a button on his back, and his legs kick apart. Pretty cool. He comes with his blue-bladed lightsaber,...

3.0 out of 5 stars The Best Anakin Yet
Finally! A decent Anakin Skywalker figure! To date (3/04/03), this is the best Anakin figure out there. The sculpt is very nice, as is the upper body articulation. The arms allow for many different lightsaber poses. However, from the waist down, this figure is a nightmare. There is no waist articulation whatsoever, and the legs are basically stuck in one spot at the hips...

He stands up fine on his own, and he has a "Jedi Power Kick" which works pretty well. You have to position his legs together and then press a button on his back, and his legs kick apart. Pretty cool. He comes with his blue-bladed lightsaber, which has a metal handle. It can be "force-attracted" to his right hand using the small magnet on his right palm. This is the only Anakin figure yet that can hold his lightsaber with two hands. He also has Tusken Raider accessories, which include a Tusken gaffi stick (a Tusken Raider weapon), a rifle, and a rack that the weapons can be leaned against. Overall this Anakin is really cool and is better than the other 2 Anakins released so far! Keep up the good work, Hasbro! You're improving!

Recommended figures:

1. Yoda
2. Obi-Wan Kenobi - Jedi Starfighter Pilot
3. Jango Fett - Kamino Escape
4. Clone Trooper
5. Geonosian Warrior
6. Kit Fisto
7. Mace Windu - Geonosian Rescue
8. Boba Fett - Kamino Escape
9. Padme - Arena Escape

5.0 out of 5 stars I think mine's defective, but it's still awesome!!, November 2, 2002

I found this figure, along with Padmé Amidala Coruscant Attack, Jango Fett Slave I Pilot, Darth Maul Sith Training, and Lott Dod Neimoidian Senator at a TRU in Milwaukee. This Anakin is a major improvement over the other two. This is basically another version of Hangar Duel, only no removable arm. Anakin is poseable at the head, arms, elbows, wrists, and features a "Jedi Power Kick," which, on mine anyway, doesn't work very well. I think mine's defective, but I don't care. I'm not that crazy about these new features, but I am crazy about likeness and detail. My figure's right leg barely moves when you snap the legs together and press the button. I showed my dad, who was really sick at the time, by saying, "Dad! Check this out, he kicks! This is sooo cool." He looked up and saw its leg move just a smidge, and he burst out laughing. This figure's detail and likeness make up for that, though. Also, he can hold his blue lightsaber with BOTH hands! He also, much to my dismay, has a magnet in his right hand, to "summon" his metal handled lighsaber into his hand. Despite the kick and the magnet, this is a really cool, detailed figure, that has a near-dead-on-accuracy of Hayden, if it weren't for the hair. This, as with all the ones I mentioned above, are really hard to find, so if you see any of these, don't hesitate in picking them up, or somebody else will, and then what will you do??

Don't pay any attention to the ratings I gave it because I read on an SW website that this Anakin is not available yet. This Anakin is called "Anakin Skywalker Tatooine Attack" and features a Jedi Power Kick feature, plus he can hold his lightsaber with BOTH HANDS!! Also, he has a magnet in his right hand to "summon" his metal handled lighsaber into his hand. This figure will not be available until either August or September, but it will be worth the wait. That is, if you can find it...

I got this figure last month at the local Wal-Mart and when I got home I got it out of it's package immediatly. The best out of all the Anakin figures I have, it's one of the funnest figures all together. Better than the Deluxe Anakin, because this figure hyas an almost endless amount of poses. Better than the Secret Hangar Duel Anakin because the stupid arm doesn't keep falling off (I got one that has a magnet that's supposed to together. Soon after my brother got one that had peg and a slot. That worked a heck of a lot better. I think Hasbro did that to me one purpose. They are all against me :).) Anyway, he comes with a rack that holds a tusken gun and gaffi stick. He has a "kicking action" that he's supposed to use to knock the rack over, but alas, that's the only downside. It doesn't work to well. All and all, a must have figure, you must have this figure.

This is one of my favorite Star Wars E2 toys. First of all you should know that his kicking action is kind of dumb it doesn't move very much but he is in a good kicking position any way. His magnet in his right hand is fairly good. He also as a good pant job this is a great figure I recommend buy this figure!

The arms allow for many different lightsaber poses. However, from the waist down, this figure is a nightmare. There is no waist articulation whatsoever, and the legs are basically stuck in one spot at the hips. The very lame "Jedi Kick" feature is to blame. The legs click inward together, then push out a centimeter at the touch of a button. It's a useless feature that ruins a figure that was almost perfect. The legs themselves have minor articulation points so you can keep Anakin from falling over. The accessories are decent, but Anakin's missing his cloak from this scene. In the end, it has its flaws, but this one is still the best Anakin out there.

This is a wonderful piece for the collection of any Star Wars fan. It has wonderful features: Jedi-power kick, "force" attraction. This figure is also a marvelous likeness of Hayden Christensen. This Anakin is just as good, if not better than the other Anakin figures on the market. I highly recommend this figure to anyone.
