Great storytelling!,

I will comment on the plot in the comments of the text format of the book. As for Marc Thompson's reading, his work is EXCELLENT!!! Each character is distinctive, and the emotions are real. I loved Anthony Heald's reading in the 90s (and of course, sounds effects were minimal compared to now), but Marc does even better. While I liked Alexander Adams (to a point), I HATED Jonathon Davis as a reader-so it's so refreshing to have someone again who can put life into the story!

In thirty years, you'd think we've all out grown the characters and situations of something that started in the '70's. Absolutely not! The characters have grown as we have and to experience Luke as a father and a widower, Han and Lea as grandparents is quite something. The character development and depth of the expanded Star Wars universe is something of a phenomenom. In this novel, Luke experiences his son, Ben's adolescent attraction to a young girl who grew up Sith! Yes, Luke not only has to deal with a whole world of Sith who have been hidden for thousands of years, now he's got teenage attraction thrust one him. With action and adventure sewn up in a Romeo and Juliet side story, this FOTJ book is both fun and exiting. The narrator does a great job with the voices as well. His Lando voice sounds like the old '70's Billy D. Williams Malt Liqour commercials. Great Job 5 stars, can't wait for the next one.

It's about time the stories came unabridged. Now no more drastic and unfortunate cuts into the story. The whole book is here just as it was meant to be read and enjoyed. I hope never to see abridgements again!
Good story too.
