First of all the helmet looks great. The detail is perfect, and the quality is good - it feels sturdy and well made. However one strong problem: it has NO INTERNAL STRUCTURE! It's just an empty bowl. There is nothing inside to place your head in so its like putting a punch bowl on your head and expecting it to stay on strait! If you want ot actually wear this you'll have to come up with some kind of support to keep the helmet from laying heavy on the top of your skull (and to stop it from twisting and turning around!) This would be OK if it was just supposed to sit on a shelf, but come on, it says 'costume helmet' - implying you wear it!

Good product. Only flaws are its non adjustable as a costume helmet and I can't see very well while wearing it. I strongly suggest that Rubies look into a fit adjuster rig for the helmet ala baseball caps or real helmet liners and maybe use a sunglass style plastic so that folks can see. Otherwise its a great piece, lightweight, good details with enough areas for personalizations. I'll figure out something with the flaws.

I was really excited to get this helmet, because it looked AWESOME! When it arrived, I wasn't disappointed- the detail is great, it looks amazing, and it's quite sturdy. However...

As other reviewers have said, this is pretty much unwearable as-is. It's just a hollow dome on the inside. To wear it you'd need to rig something up to keep it from: a) not spinning around on your head, and b) cushion your head, because it isn't comfortable. It's also really hard to see out of- the lenses are very dark and also made of plastic, so there is some distortion.

I gave it only three stars because even though it looks great, I bought it thinking I'd be able to wear it without having to jerry-rig an internal support structure.
