Artoo-Detoo by another paint job but still a cool looking paint job. I'm a collector and not so much the person that plays with these toys anymore - so I really like it.

A nice color scheme for the classic astromech,

This is a very nice figure, visually, and rounds out my growing collection of astromech droids nicely. The mold is very detailed (leg hydraulic lines are molded instead of just painted as on some of these figures, and so on) and the paint is cleanly applied.
My only gripe with this figure is that the side legs are made from rubber or rubbery plastic rather than the harder material most astromech droid figures have. I'm used to rubbery feet on these guys but rubbery legs are a little annoying when trying to pose them. I suppose that maybe the more flexible legs might make this guy fit into the newer Jedi Starfighter toys (I've damaged one droid trying this before), but I don't prefer it. It makes the figure feel flimsy. |
