Star Wars The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition is a stand alone, third-person action game that continues the story and action of the original Star Wars The Force Unleashed game. The game contains the original Force Unleashed content and storyline, as well as three additional levels, one of which is completely exclusive to the Ultimate Sith Edition. The game also includes an art book, new costumes, character skins, data banks and more.
The Ultimate Sith Edition of Star Wars The Force Unleashed is a special new version of the game that introduces gamers to the deepest, darkest side of the Force in a story that puts them on a collision course with Luke Skywalker himself. In the original release of The Force Unleashed, Darth Vader's "Secret Apprentice" was unveiled amidst new revelations about the Star Wars galaxy. The expansive story was set during the largely unexplored era between Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. In this adventure players assisted the iconic villain in his quest to rid the universe of Jedi - and face decisions that could change the course of their destiny. The new edition's exclusive storyline, set up in the Tatooine mission, follows the Secret Apprentice as he is sent to the planet Hoth on a crusade to crush the Rebellion once and for all. While on Hoth, players face Luke Skywalker while visiting iconic locations seen in Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back. The Ultimate Sith Edition includes all the of the original missions found in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, as well as content previously only available via download, and an all-new exclusive bonus level. The New Technology of The Force Unleashed As with The Force Unleashed, the Ultimate Sith Edition utilizes two completely new and innovative technologies -- Digital Molecular Matter by Pixelux Entertainment and euphoria by NaturalMotion Ltd. These groundbreaking technologies combine with Havoc physics to create true Next-Gen gameplay and the Force like it's never been seen or experienced before. Key Game Features

If you waited a while and haven't yet bought The Force Unleashed, well consider yourself lucky and pick up this addition. It's a lot more addictive and fun. I own both versions. I had The Force Unleashed for Xbox 360, and I bought this Force Unleashed Ulitmate Sith for PS3, as well as owning The Force Unleashed for PSP (what can I say I own all gaming consoles). This adds three levels to the original game that to me I enjoy more than some of the games regular levels, this game is made to answer the "what if" question; like can you imagine Luke Skywalker becoming the apprentice to Starkiller (who killed his father Vader)?
Now the Sith Edition for Xbox 360 contains 2 disks, the first is just the regular game that's been out for a little over a year, with a bonus disk featuring the 3 new levels. On the PS3 version you get one disk that contains everything. I also wanted to clear this up, you don't get 10 collector cards, you get one (of either 10 different) card and a book that shows you the other. It's nice thou, it's foil stamped, etc. And what I think is really nice, is the case this game is in, it's not plastic it's a tin case. Makes for a dramatic look. Certainly a nice christmas gift for any Star Wars fan, even if they already own the Original Force Unleashed as I did.

This is just the game with all the DLC now included on the disc. They didn't even change the menus or anything to reflect the "Special Edition"-ness (yes, that's right, the loading times between menus are still there, even after the 5-gig install). No bug fixes, backwards compatibility, anything. Your old saves don't work on here if you have any and the bonus missions are very short, even the exclusive one. The trophies are a little buggy too, because apparently kills in the bonus levels don't count toward some trophies (I counted). The non-canon storyline is interesting enough, but it still feels incomplete, even with the addition of the Hoth DLC. If you were going to buy all of the DLC, this costs about the same, and if you haven't played the game yet, this is the edition to buy, but overall there's not a ton of reason to buy it if you've played the game. It comes with ten collector's cards (and one out of ten foil cards, are you supposed to buy the game ten times or what?) and the exact same manual from the first game.

To be honest, when this game first came out, I didn't know whether to buy it or not. Being the mild Star Wars fan and the huge gamer I am, I decided to try it. And I was not disappointed. The concept of a secret apprentice was a cool one, but the fact that it was from Darth Vader...not so much.
Now the story is what gets me. Sure Star Wars titles may be a little tired after about 30 years, but it still caught my eye due to the fact that you get to play as a Sith Lord's apprentice. The dark side's always cooler. Anyway, the downfall of the entire game is the story itself. What story, you ask? Exactly. Bad guy gets betrayed by his master, then decides to be a Jedi. Right. Now that sounds dumb as hell. But in general, the gameplay more than makes up for it. The game was very fun to say the least. One of the best features was the fact that you could upgrade your powers, which is always cool. The best part of it was that you could also personalize your lightsaber, changing its color and powers; along with Starkillers force powers. All in all, this was the best Star Wars title I've played yet, and I eagerly await the sequel. 2115|RELUXNYROH30Q;2115|R11360P2VV4E8I;2115|R3A691U1HB6KQE;
