5.0 out of 5 stars AWESOME LOOKING FIGURE
I'm honestly not a huge Star Wars figure but I do love collecting robots or robotic figures, especially those that are from movies or TV. This is one of the droid body guards that surround and guard General Grevious. They are armed with electrostaffs which are very cool. By squeezing the figures legs together you can have the droid swing his staff into action. Very...

3.0 out of 5 stars CRAPTACULAR DROID!
This figure looks simply cool with the electro staff and removable cape but, here are the down sides: 1. it has NO ankle or knee articulation 2.his hands can't grip the electro staff 3. In the film they wore there capes while weilding the electro staff, but with the figure if you try to make him hold it in two hands, his cloak will usually look like it is defying...

This is one of the droid body guards that surround and guard General Grevious. They are armed with electrostaffs which are very cool. By squeezing the figures legs together you can have the droid swing his staff into action. Very nice looking figure. Well-painted and articulated at shoulders, elbows, neck, thigh, knee, ankle, etc. One of my favorite of the Revenge of the Sith figures.

this toy is good if you have a Grievous toy, too. My kid plays with all her toys for one day. When I got her this toy and a Greivous toy she plays with it nonstop. She even brings it in the car when we go to school and puts it in her backpack and keeps it in her backpack during school and plays with itr during recces! Awsome toy!

p.s. i know a girl who likes Star Wars

4.0 out of 5 stars Almost Perfect., May 8, 2005

This is a great figure. Nicely detailed and painted. the arms have great articulation. And the battle attack motion is actually decent. Other figure have pretty lame motions that look like they're have a spasm or something, this looks like he is actually doing something that he intended. The only problem I have with this figure is that there is no knee or ankle articulation. This would be a perfect figure if it had those two things. Still for the price, it is a nice figure overall and looks very good standing next to General Grevious.

5.0 out of 5 stars A pretty good buy, April 30, 2005

This is the droid to have if you buy any. This figure has 9 points of articulation and is very detailed from its staff to its(removable) head. Its head can turn 360 degrees and this figure has a pretty functional "attack action". The paints on this figure sparkle when you hold it up to the light and so do the red bars on the staff. The only problem with this figure is that its hands flop around a bit. Other than what I said there is really nothing else worth saying about this figure other than that you should buy two of them to protect General Grievous.

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent Figure..., April 30, 2005

Grievous' bodygaurd is pretty good and is a nice addition to the collection. His cape is the rubbery stuff, but his head easily comes off and it can be then removed. His head is pretty small, though, so younger kids may lose it after a while. His articulation is pretty good though his wrists are floppy; he can get into and look good in a variety of poses. The action should last for a while, too, and is acceptable in a line which has a few duds among it. This is not one of them.

4.0 out of 5 stars There's a vintage version, February 11, 2011

All I will say is that there is a vintage version of the Magna Guard at Star Wars 2010 Vintage Collection Action Figure Magna Guard. It's an incredible figure and should easily replace this version as the definitive version. This one isn't bad, but its plastic cape and largely lackluster color tones just pale in comparison to its newer cousin.

This is a great toy to add to your collection. The staff attck is kind of weak, and the cloak is hard to remoove, but it just looks so good standing next to my grievous figure. if you get a grievous, you have to get one of these.

In the film they wore there capes while weilding the electro staff, but with the figure if you try to make him hold it in two hands, his cloak will usually look like it is defying gravity!

So it's best to just use them as statues!
