5.0 out of 5 stars Playing the 'Long Arm of Justice', November 22, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Star Wars: Galaxy Guide 10 Bounty Hunters (Paperback)
Bounty Hunters are among the most misunderstood business people in Star Wars. This supplement does away with the prejudice, Hunters were assassins and/or mercenaries. It outlines the different types of Hunters, the approaches to the Hunt, even the Creed is dealt with. The history of bounty hunting is partly told with the mention of Guild histories.

Now that we are facing the incredibly stupid Bounty Hunter Wars trilogy by K.W. Jeter (a man who didn't read this supplement OR 'Tales of the Bounty Hunters' for research), I especially recommend this supplement to everyone who wants to learn the truth about Bounty Hunters in Star Wars. Even if you are not playing (or intending to play) the SW RPG, you should buy this book.

Be assured that most Hunters are not as dumb as put by K.W. Jeter in his works, and that there wasn't only one Guild. Every Hunter mentioned by Jeter has more in stall than playing a fool for Boba Fett. Again, read this book to learn the truth about Bounty Hunters.

4.0 out of 5 stars A great source on bounty hunters, August 24, 1998
This review is from: Star Wars: Galaxy Guide 10 Bounty Hunters (Paperback)
First, let me say that this was the first Galaxy Guide I purchased. I don't know if they are all similarly laid out or not, but I like how it follows the basic layout of the rulebook. This has a lot of information on the bounty hunter profession, and includes a special bounty hunter adventure (which may seem a bit confusing at first, but you just have to read it). Armor, weapons, and equipment for bounty hunters is included, too! I definately reccomend this book.
