My 4 year old LOVED it!,

My four year old boy really loved this book because the pictures were shiny and exciting and the abridged story didn't bore him. We read the book a few times during the week, and then he watched the movie on the weekend (first time). He was able to understand the story and was able to call out key scenes from the book as well. I'm not saying he's a genius or anything (I did read the book HIM), but the kid was able to translate the art work from the book and put the story together to enjoy the movie. A perfect scenario for teaching the value that the book is either WAY better than a film (almost always true), or that a book helps you understand the film WAY better. :)
