The 1/72 Scale TIE Fighter Model Kit features a modified assembly intended to appeal to both novices and experienced model-builders. The TIE is easily distinguished by the spherical design of the cockpit and the curvature-grid view port. Sideward posts join the cockpit to the characteristic outer wing panels. Mainly they attack via twin laser cannons situated among the lower circumference of the cockpit. With their inventive design and hornet-style attack formation, the TIE Fighters are visually impressive, but a standard garden TIE Fighter offers about as much protection as a runaway golf cart---which is why itās always prudent to take advantage of that TIE Fighter insurance prior to embarkation.
