This has to be my favorite shooting game on my PC. There are so many different scenes and the aliens around each corner always scared the hell out of me when I was little. It's kind of old but it still works on my XP even though it says 95. I'm not a Star Wars fan, but I'm a fan of this game.

This is the 2nd in the series of Kyle Katarn FPS games which started with SW Jedi Knight: Dark Forces (a DOS based game that you'll likely need "DOS Box" to run, even on a Win2000 OS PC) and continued with SW Jedi Knight: Mysteries Of The Sith (an expansion to Dark Forces II, which came packaged with later DFII versions) SW Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast and SW Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. Game play is linear but brings you to enough different worlds and situations that play isn't boring. Become Evil/Good, Dark/Light Jedi by your actions throughout the game - picking up stars by finding secrets to buy/add to jedi powers.

For someone who loves Star Wars games, this one never gets old. Sure the graphics are not up to current technology, but the game is still fun. I liked how the game play changed if you decided to become an dark or light jedi - one of the few games where the "alternate ending" hook was in reality an alternate ending.
