Purchased because it is a graphic novel and not a paperback/hardcover book. Outstanding art and story line and a fun read. It is a part of my Star Wars collection now and recommend it to others who enjoy all the variations of Star Wars as I do.

This was a good addition but not the best. It seems at this point that the legacy series may be starting to spin its wheels just a bit.

Things are slowing to a crawl,

Finally the pieces are coming together. The Jedi, Republic and Empire have united to oppose the Sith. But after 8 volumes of hesitation Cade Skywalker has fallen back on bad habits parting on the beach and taking missions from his old pirate master. Soon he's lured into a trap and things fall back into a predictable pattern.
And that's a problem. When Legacy launched it was exciting because it was new and there was a feeling anything could happen. But 9 volumes in things feel all too safe and predictable. Once again Cade is tempted by the dark side, once again he must heal his friends, once again a whole bunch of minor Sith, Jedi and Imperial Knights wave around lightsabers and no one gets seriously hurt. The next volume of Legacy is the last and then a new mini-series starts. I hope the story will start rolling again. |
