Somehow, "Splinter of the Mind's Eye" had escaped me. Frankly, the idea of the Expanded Universe never excited me...that is until the Clone Wars cartoons (both series) really opened my mind to other non-canon experiences. "Splinter" is such a great story it *should* be canon. I was waxing nostalgic for the original comic interpretations of the trilogy and came across this nice addition to my growing collection.
If you remember the Marvel Comics versions of Star Wars - you'll love this collection. If you cut your teeth on Dark Horse interpretations, you might be a tad disappointed.

This takes you back to the classic era of Star Wars. Cool tales in this volume including Splinter of the Mind's Eye in graphic format. If you like the novels give this a chance. If you are a Star Wars comic fan you should be pleased.
