4.0 out of 5 stars Nice figure but not worth $8
I think the first reviewer was a little harsh on condemning the quality, but not if you're going to take the price into consideration. These are $6 if you're lucky enough to find them in stock at your Toys R Us, and the figure is worth that price.

3.0 out of 5 stars Much anticipated figure finally available, however...
This figure has been on the mind of collectors ever since seeing Star Wars Episode I, and now that it is finally here, it looks like it was sculpted and painted by some of Anakin's friends from Episode I as well.

The figure is really not a good representation of the actual character and the only thing exciting about it is that is looks different from Chewbacca,...

The $2 mark-up on Amazon, even if you can get free shipping or use it towards a total of $20 to get a free Silver Vader, is a rip-off. Usually Amazon's prices are great and I buy a ton of stuff from them, but individual Star Wars figures are the exception to the rule. I'll be stalking the toy aisles at local retailers for this one.

The figure is really not a good representation of the actual character and the only thing exciting about it is that is looks different from Chewbacca, but unlike the VOTC Chewbacca, it is very LAME.

To top it off, the figure can be found with various paint applications that are getting worse with each new wave of figures. To add insult to injury, Hasbro has decided to charge you extra for their incredibly inaccurate oversprayed figures.

So, we are getting figures we want, paying more for them starting with this wave, with bad paint jobs on just about every figure, and the sculpting is getting worse. What-ever happened to real-scan technology?
