This review is from: Star Wars Qui-Gon Jinn Jedi Master w/Lightsaber and Comlink 84107 (Toy)
This Comm-tech chip-equipped talking Qui-Gon Jinn 3.75 inch action figure shows Liam Neeson's Episode I Jedi in an action pose, plastic-molded hair streaming out behind him. In repose he'd look like Alfalfa.Like Liam Neeson, Qui-Gon is a little taller than average. He can stand unsupported or on his Comm-tech chip base. A Comm-tech chip reader (not included) is needed to access the speaking feature. Qui-Gon also comes armed with a lightsaber and has a communicator. Unfortunately, once out of the box, there isn't any place (like his belt) to stow this tiny accessory which could easily get lost. It's so small it could be overlooked and tossed away in unpacking, a mistake which would degrade the authenticity of the figure. Putting it in his hand is the only option, but then Qui-Gon then looks a little offbeat swinging a lightsaber in his other hand. Still, given that Qui-Gon's an offbeat Jedi, it makes a kind of weird sense, and he makes a very neat addition to your STAR WARS figure collection. |
