Having grown up collecting Star Wars comics, (which were then totally worthless after Ebay came along...) I thought I'd try this series. The 3 volumes started in the middle of a story, but had enough plot to justify reading them anyway. Not bad. A bit thin on story, not really liking the artwork either. Han Solo looks like he has some skin condtion that causes his skin to bulge in spots. Over all, could have been better.

Overall, these 4 issues are exactly what you would imagine from a Star Wars:Rebellion comic. They have the ancient taste of Episode IV all over it: a rookie with great ambitions but, so far, small achievements and great doubts over herself who finally makes something really worth a hero... Luke Skywalker and Leia when they did not even know they were twin brother and sister... the Empire at his splendor (no, there's no cameo by Darth Vader this time!)... do you like Star Wars because of the Force Magic and all this stuff? Buy another one. Do you like it because of rescue missions, impossible heroism by the Rebellion, the essential empathy for Luke's attempts to become a hero etc.... ok, this is the right book for you! The art is really, really great, at times even better than the story (space battle scenes, great architecture of space stations and Star Destroyers...). Do not expect an epic story, but, for sure, a good reading for a few hours in a Galaxy far, far away...
