1st...is not exacly a toy...is a model to build :-) and fun, be sure to supply yourselft with the paint, glue and instruments to have it done right

In comparison to the old Ertl Star Destroyer kit, this model is an excellent successor! It fits together very well, isn't very difficult to build and looks excellent when complete even before painting. Contrary to what the description reads, this kit requires paint IF you want it to look more realistic like in the film. I do recommend painting it as it makes it look leaps and bounds better. I've been a big fan of the Tamiya tank kits and this kit does not pale in comparison as far as details and the feel of it when complete, it feels very solid.

Must have for all Star Wars modelers and scale modelers in general!

Very nice model. NOT A TOY! Clean mold lines and good detail. Easy to assemble, painting is a different story. Lots of detail and three or four different shades of gray. Overall very good model.

don't believe the listing of the required paint on the side of the box....there are several additional colors that the instruction sheet call for that aren't mentioned!

Not complicated to assemble, but if you want it to look like the version on the box....well it will take some time and a steady hand with the paint brush.

This I bought for my husband and he was very happy with the condition and packaging of the product for his collection.

This is one of their favorite toys right now. The pieces sticking out are a bit fragile, so I would recommend for older boys 5+ or for parents who understand it might break easily.

This model kit was fun. The instructions could be better but once you get going it's not hard to figure out anything that's not clear. It's definately worth the money & effort. At my grandson's request I'll be hanging it within the planetary system hanging in his bedroom.
