Ok, it's not so k-razy, but this R2-unit is a really fun little guy. Place him near any light source and his 'eye' glows orange. His arms/legs/whatever are poseable as are his feet/hands/whatevers and if you spin his dome around - presto - his little third leg (I'm sorry, I really don't know what else to call it) extends downwards or stows back in his body.

And, big plus - that stupid looking blue ball thingy can be easily removed and thrown away - I mean, stored for the day when this becomes a valuable collectible.

Good for kids of all ages, except those young or strange enough to try and eat it.

The toy itself is durable and just as fun as any Star Wars toy out there. It even has the added feature of the retractable third foot that screws up and down as the toys head revolves. My only complaint is that the "holographic planet" that attaches to his projector tends to fall off after a few minutes. Still, I'm glad that Hasbro puts out Obi-Wan's droid as well as Anakin's R2-D2. He fits perfectly in the Obi-Wan Fighter produced by Hasbro, so overall I'm well pleased.

I am a great fan of Star Wars, and especially R2-D2. This looks just like R2-D2, except for the gold color scheme. The head rotates around, the middle eye lights up very well when held to light, and the appendages, for lack of a bette word, slide along well. The only problems i encountered is that the only add-on is a clear planet "projection"(although the more creative of us can imagine it's a lazer), the appendages have a hard time staying lined up right, often causing a little wobbling, and the overall fact that it doesn't really do much, unless you have one of the starfighter toys, which I have put off getting.
Overall, it's an okay toy, but it should be bought with a starfighter.

Much better than I expected. And the price was a LOT less than on eBay!

This R4 unit is actually a different color scheme of the basic R2 D2 unit. The maroon and gold tones go very well with the ARC fighter by Hasbro. That's the big plus to this otherwise simple droid toy. The paint job could have been crisper but it is still a collectible piece of Episode 3 memorabilia. Recommended for ARC fighter owners and collectors.

My son is a Star WArs junkie & this was hard to find where we live. He loves it - his new favorite "guy"

I like the r4 unit my mom got for me. It goes really good with my r2 unit. I want all the star wars toys!!! I want them for christmas this year. Thanks-Gabriel

Well, I have to say I really havent liked Star Wars for a few years. I have been colecting Harry Potter Items for a good 7 years now. I really wanted to see the hype over the new Star Wars movie and To go back to what I remembered. I loved the 1st then I waited for the 2nd and it was bad so I stopped. I saw some of these "sneak preview figures and I loved them! buy these

This toy is increadably kewl but is deffinately not and R4 unit, it's an R2, althougfh it has an inaccurate name it is still and awsome looking and durrable little toy! a recomended buy!
