Discover the Power of the Force

The Uncle Milton Star Wars Science The Force Glove allows you to harness the power of the force like Anakin Skywalker. This stylish black glove with silver trim features durable rubber padding on its palm with a circular metal disc sewn in. The included puck-shaped magnet features engravings on both sides, indicating which side is for FORCE PUSH and FORCE PULL. Simply attach the magnet to your Force Glove and control the power of the force with your own hand.

Flip over the magnet to choose the Force Push or Force Pull! View larger.

Push and Pull Force Targets

Included with the Force Glove is a magnetic base with attachable Force target cut-outs of battle droids and a lightsaber. Use the palm of your glove to push the trade federation droids away, then flip the magnet around and pull the lightsaber into your hand. Our testing team found that the included magnet is not particularly strong, and is much more adept at pulling objects in than it is pushing them away. Still, the glove is strikingly designed and durably constructed. Also, running around the house drawing in metallic objects without grabbing them is an inherently fun activity that will keep Star Wars fans entertained for hours.

I rubber glove with a magnet on it.
Kurupt
Bottom line, it's fun for little kids who haven't learned about magnets, but once they get the concept this toy gets old pretty quick.
Jerry Jackson Jr.
After that, really just another forgotten toy that might get dusted off from time to time.

Should have listened to other reviewers... The glove is tiny and the magnet is so weak you have to be 2 inches from the stand thing to get it to work. You would think that if your whole toy depends on a magnet attracting or repelling something then the magnet would be strong enough to do it...

I was able to get a pair of these gloves at the 2012 Comic-Con in San Diego and my son absolutely loves them. It's a pretty cool product. The way the magnet works can be a bit tricky if your youngster is less than 6 years old, but at the end of the day the product seems to be made well and works well with items provided. Highly recommend for any Star Wars fan.

The Star Wars Science Force Glove comes in an attractive-looking package. When you take everything out, here is what you get:

*1 FORCE Glove
*1 Double-Sided Magnet
*2 Targets
*1 Target Holder
*1 Instruction Booklet
*1 Fold-up booklet about how the Jedi and Sith use the Force in STAR WARS, and How we use the magnetic "Force" on earth.

I am a HUGE STAR WARS fan, so when I saw this product for the first time, I was excited. The FORCE GLOVE fits on my hand, it is about a medium-sized glove. You can use the "FORCE GLOVE" to either do a Force Push or a Force pull, thanks to the magnet that comes with it. You must use the targets on a flat surface, or else they may fall over and your Force Pull or Push may not work correctly. The instructions are easy to follow, and they show you how to conduct some "Force" experiments. Now onto the Pros and Cons:

Pros:

*Force Glove that looks like Anakin Skywalker's glove.
*Double-sided magnet allows you to easily choose between doing a Force push or pull.
*2 Targets to practice on that fit on to a base.

Cons:

*Would have liked more than 2 targets.
*Targets are quite small, only about two inches in Height.
*Force Glove is Medium-sized, and will probably only fit children ages 12 and under.
*The full retail price is kind of high at $17.99, I would expect to see this type of product sell for around $12.
*The targets are made of cardboard, so there may be a concern about their durability, especially with younger children.

Would I recommend it to a STAR WARS fan? Yes, I would recommend it!

This glove is fun and educational. It didn't take very long for my six and eight year old boys to figure out how to use it to push and pull the items it comes with. However, the two items are a paper droid and a paper light saber - very flimsy and tiny. I won't be surprised if they are lost or torn up in a few days. I think they should have been larger and made of something stronger. What would be REALLY cool is a glove that would let them pull their full-size toy light sabers towards them!

The educational aspect of this toy is limited - using it once or twice will teach your child about polarity. However, the fun will last a lot longer than that.

But it's still pretty cool. Doesn't work perfectly, but that just makes it more like new Star Wars, right? It was neat and basically did what it was supposed to do

Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
I've seen some great Star Wars toys over the past 35 years (yes, I go way back to my 1978 lightsaber), but this glove is somewhat disappointing. The magnets are not very powerful and only work when a metal item is less than a couple of inches from the glove. The two force objects (a light saber and Battle Droids) are cheap paper cutouts and not durable (they are already destroyed in my house after two days of light usage). The glove looks OK, but is very thin and there is no strap to tighten or loosen it if your child's hands don't fit the glove exactly. Even worse, although there are two paper "force" objects, there is only one magnetic base for both of them (the manufacturer does not provide two, so kids have to keep switching the non durable paper cutouts and keep re-attaching them to the same base). Overall, this Star Wars offering is not very durable and not made with much quality.

I rubber glove with a magnet on it. Not much fun even for kids within the age range suggested. The magnet glove come with some small card board cut outs that have a small magnet attached to them. Placing the glove close to the cut outs simulates the "jedi power". LOL. I wouldn't waste my money with this.
