4.0 out of 5 stars Short, but suspenseful

3.0 out of 5 stars better
Each addition to this Star Wars story gets a little more interesting than the last. I still think this would have worked better as one novel than a series of short stories.

4.0 out of 5 stars Short, but suspenseful, October 21, 2010

I downloaded this book for my husband on our Kindle and decided to read it. While my husband loves everything Star Wars, I must admit he has been bringing over to the force. This is the first Star Wars book I have ever read and found that it was very short, but easy to read. I was able to guess what happened in the first few books in this series, so I did not need the constant backfill that you get with so many other books. In the end, I found that I was intrigued by this mystery character that showed her true self at the very end of the novella. I am now waiting for the next novella and hope that it brings the same suspense as this book. I would recommend this book as a change of pace from your normal reading habits...unless you currently read Star Wars and then I say read on!

Well written. Continues the story. Recommend reading first three installments before starting #4.

4.0 out of 5 stars ehh....Alright..., January 24, 2012

This is a pretty interesting Star Wars short story that took a little bit of time to get into it. When I did finally get into it, it was just about over with. Then when I go to the other short stories that are suppose to be in chronological order, while they are about the same subject with the same people, they do not follow the same story. Each one started a completely new story, I wish it would go along with the story instead of jumping years at a time. Also half of the book that you download is trying to get you to read an excerpt for a completely different star wars short story or novel. This can really get quite annoying. This is interesting to read and entertaining at some level, but try not to get attached to the story too much....

in this fourth installment of an 8 part series all of the plays previously put in motion come to a head. will the tables be turned to favor the Keshiri or will the Sith reign victorious? this is the climax for all of the characters we have met before. who will be left standing?

4.0 out of 5 stars The locals strike back, January 3, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Star Wars: Lost Tribe of the Sith #4: Savior (Kindle Edition)
The Sith have taken over. Most of the Kesh locals now believe that the Sith actually are the "Skyborn" deities and should be prayed to. The Sith, meanwhile, have figured out they aren't going to be leaving anytime soon.

As this episode progresses, some locals recognize the Sith for what they are and try to undermine them. Interestingly, the local Kesh use Sith-style deceit to advance their cause. Maybe they've learned to well from their new masters? Good luck with deceiving the Sith.

Side note - the tension finally disappears between the human race and Sith race. It's all part of a eugenics program.

I knew when I got a Kindle that this would be one of the first downloads I got. I mean who could pass up a free Star Wars book. I found the story to be quite interesting but each book left me wanting more because they are so extremely short. The story jumps a bit in each book but it is still easy to follow and a fun and interesting story line. I would love to see this fleshed out a little more.

It's easy to get lost in this story for a while but you will soon find yourself moving on to another book.

It would be a much better bundle of the Kindle version was packed in as one set to download all six books.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice little story, March 31, 2011

I am kind of a Star Wars nerd, I've read at least 30 of the extended universe novels, so when I saw this short series for free on the Kindle store, I was naturally excited. The story was enough to keep me interested, different that what I was expecting, but still a very nice addition to the Star Wars universe. Having read them, I can honestly say I would pay to read them again!
