5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic fun for Trekies, May 28, 2006
I loved reading this book... all 5 or 6 times i've re-read it over the years. I get something new out of it each time as i have gotten older as well as gotten to be a bigger Trekie.... however, i can also see where some people who are not Star Trek fans would miss a lot of it and not get it

5.0 out of 5 stars completely warped, August 8, 1999

I stopped for laughing some 5 minutes per page. If you prefer being sad and serious don't even think to buy it. :)

3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad, but not great, July 28, 2007
This review is from: Star Wreck: The Generation Gap (Mass Market Paperback)
I loved Leah Rewolinski's send-up of the Star Trek universe when I was in high school. I recently came across the books again and tried re-reading them for the first time in over a decade. Still kinda funny, but it seems clear in retrospect this first book was adapted from a failed screenplay -- there are a plethora of sight gags and lines that would be funny visually, but not so much in a book. It's interesting mainly as a curiosity for real Trek fans. If you find it cheap at a used book sale it'd be worth giving a look.
