Loved them all..., April 17, 2009
This review is from: Star Wreck III: Time Warped : A Parody-Then, Now and Forever (Paperback)
...I wish there were more than, what, seven? That's all I have... Buy them too, before they are all gone!
It's a funny parody of most things Star Trek. I love them because they are a quick, effortless read about many characters I really enjoyed growing up.
Mind you, they are extremely silly...

A parody wrapped in a pun enclosed in a spoof and it manages to be hilarious at all levels, May 11, 2008
This review is from: Star Wreck III: Time Warped : A Parody-Then, Now and Forever (Paperback)
This book is a parody wrapped in a pun enclosed in a spoof and manages to be hilarious at all levels. Each of the main characters of the original Star Trek series and Star Trek: The Next Generation (TNG) is present in parody form. From the original series there is Captain Smirk, who is a hit with the ladies along with Mr. Smock, Mr. Snot, Dr. McCaw, Zulu, Checkout, and Yoohoo. The TNG characters are Captain Ricardo, Dacron, Piker, Guano, Wart, Georgie, Troit and Dr. Beverly Flusher. They are all members of StarFreak and encounter Edith Keebler, the Bored and even film critics Gene Thickskull and Roger Eatbert. At the end, even the Star Trek convention goers are lampooned as the Star Trek characters end up attending a "Wrekkie" convention.
With so many puns and modifications of the situations that took place in Star Trek episodes, you have to read carefully or you will miss some of them. However, even if you do, the ones you catch will be enough to keep you roaring with laughter.
