The StarTech.com USB CompactFlash/SmartMedia card reader allows your PC or Mac to read the popular CompactFlash and SmartMedia memory cards used by most digital cameras. Images from the cards can be saved to hard disk at lightning speed compared to using the serial cable that is included with many cameras. The USB connection makes the reader a snap to install and seamless to use. Your memory cards appear as an additional drive to your system so the image files can be removed with your standard Windows or MacOS file interface.
