1.0 out of 5 stars Does not work as Advertised, Cursor won't line up, January 9, 2012
This review is from: StarTech.com 4-Port USB VGA IP KVM Switch with Virtual Media (SV441DUSBI) (Personal Computers)
This IP KVM device is supposed to allow remote BIOS level control of Servers via IP, it allows allows hardwired typical KVM control as well. Unfortunately, the remote part (the reason why we purchased it in the first place) does not work well. The main problem is that the remote cursor and the local cursor which is controlling the remote server do not sync properly. For example, I am unable to get to the bottom of the screen to the Start icon on the remote unit. I tried re-syncing it countless times and upgrading the firmware to no avail.

I contacted Startech Support who finally said "it sometimes has problems with certain systems" well we have pretty generic Dell Servers so I just don't get that. I am trying to get it returned now directly with StarTech.

I would avoid this model and get one that has more favorable reviews.
