8" isnt really that long, but it got my p4 connector where it needs to be, pins were straight, good quality, and cheap!

Nice cable if you need access to the "other" 12V rail on an ATX power supply.

However, BE CAREFUL: many power supplies these days have quite a number of 4-pin connectors that look like this, and although in theory they are "keyed" so that you can't mix them up, the plastic is soft enough that you can often mash one into the other without much force. Especially given how "tough" those 4-pin molex connectors on pre-SATA hard drives are -- the force it takes to connect those things is more than enough to mis-conncet these connectors.

When connecting this cable, it should slide effortlessly into the connector on your power supply. If you have to exert any amount of force at all, you're probably using the wrong connector -- look carefully and make sure the keying is an exact match.

The power cable going from my power supply to the CPU on my motherboard was too short to reach. This is an excellent extension. It's long enough to have it go around my motherboard so that it's out of the way and not touching any of the heat sinks. Works great.

I purchased this to connect wires in my motorcycle and it performed great. If you read this dont be shocked I am one of those guys who likes to try different ideas to make it work.

I realize this says it works for P4, but it worked just fine to extend and power my AMD 1055T X6 processor from my PSU and Gigabyte M68MT-S2P motherboard. Just so long as you are needed a 4 pin and not 8 pin extension, this should do the job. Great price and functions as described.

I bought this for my custom pc so that i can extend the power supply cable and hide the cable on the side of my NZXT tower case.I'm glad i did because this really does the job.Now i don't have to worry about the cable rubbing the graphic card.Since i already extend the cable i got all the space i need to install a bigger and better graphic card.

Just what I needed for my desktop. Enabled me to extend the power reach so I could install the cards I needed to in my PC.

Not sure what to say here. It's a cable. It works. Yay! If you need it, buy it. It's a good price.

Found myself with a situation wherein the power supply CPU aux power cable was too short. After a brief on-line search, I found these at a very reasonable cost. I was not only able to complete the build, I was able to run the cable underneath the motherboard and reduce the cable clutter right where you would like optimum cooling airflow. These are great quality and were promptly shipped. You won't go wrong giving these a try!

An 8inch cable extension works fine. Excellent product.
