Perfect for using your broadband card at home...,

I purchased one of these from Amazon in order to be able to use my Sprint broadband internet card (Pantech) in my home computer. Installation was a snap and after installing the Sprint Software on my home system, the card came up just like it did on my laptop. (Just remember to load the software BEFORE you insert the card.) If you are looking for a inexpensive way to get a bit more use from your broadband internet card, you should definitely try one of these!

I got this thing so that I could use my Verizon internet card on my desk top, as I live in the boonies and we dont even have phone lines. I had a little trouble while first installing it, after putting it in the computer and turning the computer on I was getting the "beep code" turned it off then back on a couple times and it finally caught on. It didnt want to read the card that I put in it at first either. Had to shutdown and reboot yet again. But after that everything else seems to work fine. The other thing that you should probably know about this thing is that it forces you to put the card in upside down... nothing really wrong with that unless you have certain disorders. FYI, It kind of drives me nuts. But over all it seems to work well no problems since it was recognized properly. Enjoy

I purchased this adapter because I wanted to use an internet aircard on a desktop computer and the local computer stores didn't carry anything that would work. I installed it on a XP Pro machine and it works great with a CDMA aircard, however the internet speed is limited to the maximum PCI bus speed but this is another issue. Great product and excellent price.

Well, this was certianly "Plug and Play"! :-)All I had to do was pop it in to the slot, fire up the machine, and ding-ding, "New Hardware Found!" and it worked. And because of our situation, I loaded the software for our Sprint Aircard. Plugged in the Aircard ( a cellular card for accessing the internet if you are not familiar with "aircard") and hit "GO!" And we were connected to the Internet. Wow, there were no clitches nor hitches. What a great product!

NOt much to say after the title. The product came in a box intended for bulk purchase like a computer building house. I simply put it into the slot in my computer and have been using my laptop internet connection card without any problems. I wish everything worked this simply.

With the CardBus/PCMCIA adapter I can now use my high-power ORiNOCO and Senoa Notebook network adapters in my desktops. Installation was a breeze.

Works great! I'm not up on computer technology but it fit right into the computer and was up and running within a matter of minutes. My verizon wireless card slides right in and allows me to now disconnect my over priced DSL or Lan line.

I got one of these at work. It uses a "Richo RL5C475(II) CardBus Controller" for which there are no Windows 7 or Vista drivers.
