The DP2HDMIMM10 DisplayPort to HDMI (M-M) Video Converter Cable lets you connect an HDMI capable display to a DisplayPort video card/source using a single cable. The cable provides a connection distance of 10ft and features a male HDMI connector and a male DisplayPort connector. The DisplayPort/HDMI video converter cable supports high bandwidth video transmissions, easily delivering monitor resolutions up to 1920x1200 or HDTV resolutions up to 1080p - allowing you to take full advantage of your HDMI capable display, while using a cutting edge DisplayPort video source. DP2HDMIMM10 is a passive adapter cable that requires a DP++ port (DisplayPort++), meaning that DVI and HDMI signals can also be passed through the port. I received the cable. Contruction looked good. I plugged it into my Displayport and then into my HDMI TV and, voila, my computer display was on the TV. Works great for playing Netflix's movies from my computer onto the big screen.

"I cannot help but disagree with "Joy2010" review even more. The product was as advertised and this review sounds very slanderous by a deceitful competitor. Sounds fishy when the reviewer puts the name "BuyCheapCables" twice in the same review. We purchased this cable from them and it arrived as advertised: It was a 10ft displayport to hdmi cable. Nothing more, nothing less- worked like a charm, price was reasonable, and item came in 2 days. It was fulfilled by amazon as we noticed the 'fulfillment by amazon' sticker and invoice. I would definitely purchase from these guys again."

I purchased this cable to connect a Samsung SyncMaster 2333HD monitor to a Dell e-port replicator (a docking station). The monitor was originally connected with a DVI to HDMI conversion cable.

The cable works exactly as advertised, it is sturdy and the monitor works very well. My only problem with this order was due to UPS fumbling miserably, it had nothing to do with Amazon.
