How simple it is to be able to go from an HDMI out to a display port without an adaptor. HDMI needs to work out their licensing with the cable manufacturers so that these cables can be manufactured again. If you didn't know they took the cable manufactures to court to stop production of this because of a licensing issue (i.e., they wanted money). I am sure there is a way they can get a slice of the pie and make everyone happy.
