A nurse of mine had a phone memory card that we needed information off of and she didnt have her products card reader with her. I pulled out my StarTech USB multi reader and it fit in one of the slots successfully and read the card with out any problems. Saved the info on my pc and we were happy with the results.

I bought this card thinking that I needed a special card reader for my new 64 gb SDXC card. I am using a Windows XP laptop. My laptop was not able to recognize the card until I downloaded the exFAT file system update (KB955704) available from the Microsoft Download Center. Then I tried to read the SDXC card using an old Transcent SDHC card reader I already had and it worked perfectly. My conclusion is that I probably did not need to buy a special card reader for the SDXC card. If you have Windows XP, try downloading the exFAT file system update before buying a new card reader.
