This package came without a single line of installation instructions. I went to their website, expecting help. There wasn't any. Thankfully, I know my way around the inside of a computer, so I'll be able to install this myself; but for someone who may not be sure, you may want to buy something else.

Solved my overheating video card problem instantly. I have a B-grade card from PNY that came with a crappy fan. It made horrible grinding noises and went faster and slower and faster and slower and my comp froze up regularly due to the video chip overheating. Problems disappeared instantly with this fan.

The package I received came with a tube of thermal compound too, which is very convenient. If I recall correctly, the instructions were nonexistent, but it's a generic proceedure so there are plenty of youtube videos and other instruction sources.

I don't need it to be super quiet, and I don't have any particularly extreme demands of the thing, so, after 3 months of use, I give it 5 stars for just doing the job I need it to do, every time I turn it on. Plus the thermal compound being included.

Fan works great, the universal monting attachment actually worked quite well. I mounted it to NVIDIA geforce 6600 video card, to replace old fan with wore-out hypro bearings. So far (2 weeks)it works very well, moves a ton of air, and is very quiet. I am using this in a computer that runs my video surveilance system so it is on 24hrs/365days.

My only complaints are; to clear the PCI card installed below this fan I had to remove the plastic fan cover, also my GPU had a two wire power connect, and this unit came with a 3 wire (no big deal I just spliced on the connector from the old unit.

This looks great and is very quiet. I used to it replace the dead fan on my dad's Ti4200. I was surprised how quiet this was.
