5.0 out of 5 stars The ONLY soap for your deck, May 25, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
We've been using this deck cleaner for over 20 years and have always been happy with it. It is truly non-skid/non-slip and it leaves no soapy residue. And perhaps most imprtantly, it gets the gunk out of the nooks and crannies and makes the fiberglass deck look bright white again. There is no better product on the market at any price. I've tried dozens and keep coming back to the Star-Brite Deck Cleaner.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best deck cleaning product on the market..., September 6, 2010

I discovered this deck cleaner about 5 years ago in West Marine. After comparing with other products, I've not found another product that compares. I have a 31' Sailboat, it takes an entire 32 oz bottle to do a good wash down. It is worth every penny, as you don't have to wash as much given the dirt repeller.

5.0 out of 5 stars does the job!, August 25, 2010

Great product- we use it on the deck of the sailboat (when silly people who don't know any better walk on our boat with dirty or black soled shoes) or if bird droppings make a stain in the non-skid- also on the floor of our Boston Whaler- works like a charm!

I used a spray bottle and this whitened my non skid deck so much that my fishing buddies noticed how clean it looked. Had trout and spanish blood on the deck and it took it off. GREAT product, better than advertised. It took a wee bit of scrubbing on the dried blood, but the mud and grime just rubbed right off with a brush.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better then any bleach/soap mix I've used, September 5, 2011

This product worked awesome. It says to squirt the liquid on the deck, brush, wait then spray or brush again. Any way you cut it it works great. Plus you have some UV protection as well. Never seen my textured surface look so clean. I had my buddy use it on the deck of his 31ft Cris Craft and he did on the platform and he used bleach and soap on the aft deck. Needless to say the deck cleaner rocked. Saw him at the marina on saturday and he had a gallon.

One complaint is that there is not "squirt" type applicator. I use the uncap it and splash around technique. Brush and spray. I also noticed that it has that slick soapy chemical feel of simple green, maybe that would work too...?

4.0 out of 5 stars Non skid Deck cleaner, June 4, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I gave this a 4 out of 5 because it does not remove water stains. As far as washing and cleaning it's probably the best cleaner I've used.
The thing I like best is the protective coating it leaves on the deck it makes cleaning up easy after a long day on the water
