The Starbuck's Cappucino was suprisingly very very good! So tasty and totally hit the spot - if it didn't have 60/80 calories I would have had more in one sitting, but I'd rather save those calories for something to eat while sipping the cappucino.

Starbucks new cappuccino t disc is absolutely delicious. Starbucks has its own milk disc unlike the one used by both Maxwell House and Gevalia. I did not find the milk sweet, just better - there was less of a cooked milk flavor. And, my milk discs did not leak. The espresso, as others have noted, is vastly superior to the Maxwell House or Gevalia brands. The Starbucks strong but not bitter espresso discs are so good I hope that in the future they will be available for purchase separately.
I added a picture of the finished drink, which layers nicely and has a luxurious amount of foam. The cup in the photo holds 8 ounces filled to the brim. The cappuccino has 60 calories , 4.5 grams of fat and 3 grams of sugar. The delicious espresso flavor is very present in the cup. This is as close to a coffee shop cappuccino as my Tassimo has produced. There is no question about it, I will be buying these discs regularly.

Best milk based Cappuccino/Latte yet,

I am not a fan of the previous Cappuccino/Latte that Tassimo has, just tried this one today. It is definitely better than the non-Starbucks varieties but it is a little sweet for my liking. Maybe adding some hot water will help, will try that next.
Also - the milk container on this specific drink is a little leaky when taking out of the Tassimo, we made two drinks back to back and same issue both time, never been this bad with other milk based drinks.

Best of the cappuccinos,

My husband and I did a taste test with the Starbucks Cappuccino, Gevalia's, and the Maxwell House variety. We ranked them in that order exactly - with Starbucks' tasting rich, flavorful, and with a hint of caramel. Delicious. Gevalia was also quite good and is a bit less expensive, but the Starbucks flavor really knocked it out of the park. The Maxwell House cappuccino left an aftertaste and was not as flavorful.

The Real Deal,

As others have said already, the new Starbucks discs for Cappuccino and Latte are really amazing. All our guests who got to sample the new cappucino or latte were really impressed by the taste and presentation. Bad news for Gevalia - compared to the new Starbucks products they are just no longer cutting it.

This is the reason we bought the tassimo...
Now they won't make this. I hope there us an equivalent out there. Price is doubled as the remaining stick is sold off and it isn't sold by Amazon, LLC anymore... It's good but not double price good...

Best Cappuccino for Tassimo,

Let me start out by saying I am NOT a die-hard Starbucks fan. In fact I very rarely buy a drink in a Starbucks store. I prefer the local coffee shops because I usually find Starbucks coffee to be bitter. However, I read several reviews of this which seemed to be positive and I really wanted a good cappucino from my Tassimo, so I took a chance.
I'm glad I did because I really enjoy the Starbucks Cappuccino Primo much more than the other Cappucino choices out there for Tassimo. I have tried Maxwell House, Gevalia and I have even purchased the Cappuccino disks on their own (Tassimo Cappuccino Foaming Milk Creamer, 8-Count T-Discs for Tassimo Coffeemakers (Pack of 2)) to make with my other espresso discs such as Mastro Lorenzo Crema Coffee, T-Discs for Tassimo Coffeemakers, 16-Count Packages (Pack of 2). Note: the creamer disks inlcuded in the Gevalia and Maxwell House packs is the same as the Tassimo Cappuccino Creamer. The Tassimo brand creamer had a slight plasticy taste that I can live with, but do not enjoy. The Starbucks version does NOT have any taste other than what you would expect from steamed frothy milk. It is smooth and delicioius. I brew the milk disk first and then the espresso disk next because I find it makes for less clean-up. If I run the milk disk second, I usually run the cleaning disk after to make sure no milk is left behind. I also hold the button for more water for the maximum amount of time on the coffee disk (I like to take a large cup to work with me) and it does not get watered down (makes approximately 14 oz. with this method). I now make this variety of Tassimo each and every morning before leaving for work. I'm so happy that I can get coffee shop quality cappucino in only a couple minutes, made directly into my travel mug at home. Now if only they would sell the Starbucks Cappucino disks on their own, that would be fabulous.

Perfect Pick Me Up!,
This review is from: Starbucks Cappuccino Primo, T-Discs for Tassimo Coffeemakers, 8 Count Packages (Pack of 2) (Grocery)
I have to admit I was skeptical when I initially tried the Starbucks Primo Cappuccino t-discs. I love me some Starbucks and the thought I could have a comparable beverage at home seemed pretty far fetched. It was also my first time using the Tassimo T20.
Put the cream disc in first, once that has brewed, replace it with the espresso disc. I like to use the + feature on the Tassimo to get a little more out of the espresso disc. The result is a beautifully made cappuccino that is not only pleasing to the eye, but it tastes just as good or dare I say, even better than the coffee house! One thing to consider is before you place the cream t-disc into the machine, be sure you have a cup already under the spout. The coffee t-discs don't drip until you push the button, but the cream ones drip once the lid is shut. I learned that on my first go round with these discs! I like my cappuccino flavored so I have a little sugar free caramel syrup on hand, just a teaspoon of this stuff kicks up the flavor nicely. You can find it here: Torani Sugar-Free Syrup, Caramel, 25.4-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3) The price of the t-discs does seem a bit steep. There are 16 discs total, but keep in mind that each serving requires 2 discs so you only get 8 servings per container. I do like buying them in bulk here as it saves a bit. I also have found them at Kohl's so I pick some up when I score a 30% off coupon. Bed Bath & Beyond has them as well, so hang onto those 20% off mailers they like to send monthly! I've posted a photo of the cappuccino once it's been made under customer images. It's nice to have a gourmet coffee as a treat once or twice a week, and the Primo Cappuccino really does bring the coffee house to your kitchen!

Very Strong,

This review is from: Starbucks Cappuccino Primo, T-Discs for Tassimo Coffeemakers, 8 Count Packages (Pack of 2) (Grocery)
I found the Starbucks Cappuccino for Tassimo to be strongest of any of the Cappuccinos I sampled. The espresso flavor is very present. Even when sugar and milk was added it was too strong for my linking. I ended up giving the package to my son who is addicted to Starbucks. If you like strong coffee then I recommend this. I still rated it a 4 based on it being a good quality strong coffee and not on my not liking it.

I expected Starbucks cappuccino to be way better than the Maxwell House version. And it was not. I think it also has a higher fat content. For the lower price and excellent taste, I recommend the Maxwell House cappuccino!
