I switched to these pods from another brand, and can't believe what I'd been missing! Note, I am not a coffee connoisseur, but I can tell a big difference. It makes a darker, creamier, non-bitter espresso, and you can't beat the convenience of pods. Also, they are packed individually so they are always fresh. Definitely recommend.

I use them in my Francis*Francis, and my wife and I couldn't be more pleased; she with the lattes ("I can't tell the difference!") and me with the demi-tasse espresso. Since the taste is "right on" and the price a fraction of other pods, this is the coffee discovery of a lifetime for Starbucks fanciers.

These were the first pods that I had purchased for my Krups espresso machine. I had never tried them, but I trusted the Starbucks named based on their reputation for great coffee. Once I received them, I didn't hesitate to test them in my machine! I was not disappointed. The flavor was great and the crema was perfect. I used these for espresso alone, lattes (plain and vanilla), and caramel macchiato (both hot and iced). I was highly satisfied with the outcome every time. Needless to say, I used these up quickly and needed more. Regrettably, I opted for another brand that was a slightly better value for the price. The other brand, which I am drinking at the moment, does not nearly live up to the standard of these Starbucks pods. The espresso is hit or miss. Sometimes it comes out as yellow water into the cup, even though I put the pod in the exact same way each time. I never had this problem with the Starbucks pods. They appear to be the same size. The flavor is weak and just wasn't what I was looking for after using the Starbucks brand. Unfortunately, I still have a box and a half to get through before I have to re-purchase. I will most definitely be purchasing these the next time around.

I ordered these in bulk. I was trying to avoid paying shipping by ordering for the future. Now I am stuck with 8 boxes that expire in a month. I contacted the company and they gave a really long excuse as to why they are not responsible for this and will not replace them. These pods do not work as a replacement for senseo coffee pods and they did not work in my espresso maker either. I have to open the pod and empty it into a coffee filter in order to use it. The coffee does taste really good though and hopefully it will taste good even when expired!

Using these in a 15 bar machine, and they make bitter coffee. Espresso should come out as crema,with the coffee forming from the crema. With these pods, the coffee comes out black, and you get a very small amount of crema forming progressively throughout the draw. It's undrinkable crap. It tastes like bad instant coffee. I'll never buy starbucks pods again.

I use these with the handpresso and can produce a cappuccino or latte that rivals produced by a barista at the cafe. If you get your process down, you can easily produce a rich, smooth cup to get you going in the morning with less fuss and less $.

I was very anxious to receive the Starbucks Espresso coffee until I put it in the holder. Result: it leaked a very pale water. The pod is about half the size of the normal pod and it was very tight and compact. I really wish it DID fit. The vender "Cooks.com" were VERY gracious to return the amount I spent (including shipping) and said I should just keep it. I don't know what to use it for, because it won't work in my Senseo, but I'm sure it saved them money for the return shipping. COOKS.com is a very great company and I would buy other items from them, but this particular product just did not work.

I have a Starbucks espresso machine given to me by my daughter. These are the only pods that will fit comfortably
in my machine. They perform well and do make a strong cup of espresso and a hearty latte. I have tried another
brand but they are too snug to work with this machine. My only regret that Starbucks does not make another type
for the owners of this machine.. e.g. dragon, or one of their other blends.....

These are the best E.S.E. pods I have tried, but lately the stores in NE are all sold out (tried 4 stores in 2 states!) of everything except decaf, so I am stuck with ordering them online from Amazon.

These produce a great-tasting, non-bitter shot of espresso every single time, with great crema on every shot. The only caveat with these (any) pods is that you need to use them when fresh, the expiration date on these is more than just a suggestion, it's a rule.
