Can't live without it!
Couldn't disagree more with the other reviewers. I buy it a case at a time and start everyday with a chilled can of either Mocha, Vanilla or Coffee flavor. Granted it is addicting (must be the Guarana) but it jumpstarts my day and with no after taste. I used to be able to get it at Costco for $20/case but since they stopped carrying it I have to rely on "sales"...

It Gets The Job Done
I love coffee and I am an energy junkie. I thought that the two together would be GREAT especially from Starbucks...first taste OK but it's the after taste that is just plain yucky. It gets you cranked no doubt but there are other coffee/energy combo's that taste good with no after lingering taste.

I drink the smaller double shot cans from time to time, but this larger version is absolutely disgusting. It had the thick, syrupy consistency of a slim fast shake and didn't really taste much like coffee. It's way too sugary and far too viscous. I had to throw it away it was so bad.

Who thought of putting taurine in a coffee drink?
Vitamins and ginseng in a coffee drink might be a good idea, but the taurine and artificial sweeteners make it taste like $#1t. This thing tastes like espresso mixed with redbull. I will either stick to the original starbucks doubleshot espresso, or, better yet, switch to Illy espresso and brew it myself. |
