This without a doubt is my choice for albumof the year. Does killer versions of Journey's "Edage of the Blade". "Burn by Deep Purple", & "Break it up" by Foreigner. The title track is just amazing. Jorn Lande has an awesome voice. This CD is a must have... If you are a fain of Rainbow, Whitesnake, Purple, etc you will be impressed.. This was the CD of the year for me.

One of the finest voices to emerge in rock in recent times is the Norwegian born Jorn Lande, whose impressive CV includes his career with The Snakes(Neil Murray and Bernie Marsden from Whitesnake),his bands Millennium and the more experimental Ark,and his short stint with Yngwie Malmsteen,to name only a few of his accomplishments. This is his first solo album, comprising covers and originals:while his versions of the Journey and Deep Purple classics are nothing short of exceptional, the original songs present him as an accomplished songwriter in his own right. The overall musical tone of the album is one of fusing metal with progressive, blues and pop,all in the right amount for a great listening experience.
