Easy to use, completely water-proof. Position your starfish at the desired water level and start filling the bath. The LCD readout will give you the constant water temperature and an alarm will sound when water reaches the base of unit.

Amazon Verified Purchase
I was skeptical at first, thinking I didn't need one of these, however, I'm glad I purchsed this. What I think is a good temperature is clearly too warm for my child, so I was glad to have this thermometer. The suction cup does not work on tiled surfaces, but does ok on plastic.

I have been using this alarm for several months now and just love it. It works perfectly for me. Tells me accurate temps and I love how it alerts me to when the tub has reached the specified level. High recommend it!

Works and sounds the alarm when water is present.
The alarm should probably be as loud as a smoke alarm, but it isn't. If it were louder, I would have given it 5 stars.
Nonetheless, I would purchase again since our home has the handle-type faucets in the bath tubs. Handle-type faucets can be turned on by toddlers. A very dangerous situation, if the toddler climbs into the tub.
I purchased 3 of the Starfish and placed them flat on the each of the 3 tub bottoms. They also work well on the sides of the tub, but that allows more to accumulate before the alarm goes off.

Bath alarm
The alarm worked, but was far too quiet when it went off. A much louder alarm is needed. The attachment to the bath wall swas also not too good.

Without a decent alarm, not worth it
Great with the shipping, but fail to say that the product couldn't be heard over the sound of running water. You would have to be in the room & be very alert to hear the thing. Read more

We like it ok
I love the look. It is so cute! But it drives us crazy because you can't leave it in the shower because when the water from the shower sprays on it, it starts beeping!
