looks cheap but works better than the standard kind,
By The cons: It looks like it belongs in a toy chest, so if you pride yourself on your beautiful Martha Stewart kitchen you're going to want to put this away after using it rather than leave it displayed. It doesn't work well at all on potatoes--even when you cut them in half first, it still misses lots of spots and carves them into apple shapes. There are four plastic suction cups on its base to keep it from moving while you're using it, and you have to wet them to make them work. It only takes a few drops of water, though, and then they work fine. I love mine and use it all the time. For me, the cons are outweighed by the usefulness of being able to peel, core, and slice an apple in seven seconds. I'll never go back to a sideways peeler.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I was a bit apprehensive in purchasing this item due to its whimsical appearance, but I must say I'm glad I did. It works flawlessly doing what it was meant to do, and for the price, you just can't beat it.
