I am very supportive of these new "green" pans, however the performance of these pans is not equal to the best traditional nonstick pans. The release on the surface needs more oil than my older nonstick pans, though not as much as a traditional surface. The heat distribution of these pans is nice and even, and the balance and weight is nice. The screw for the handle has come loose twice since I bought it.

I was very reluctant to buy this product, because some of the other reviews have been less than favorable. However, I am VERY happy with my new pan and plan to buy a couple more.

The non-stick coating is amazing. Everything slides off the pan so easily! In fact, it is better than Teflon, and it doesn't have all the dangerous chemicals that Teflon has.

I have noticed that other reviewers complained of their pans chipping after some time. I guess this doesn't surprise me, since the pan is ceramic and my ceramic plates often chip too. So, I'm a little more careful with this pan than other pans, but it has been absolutely fabulous! I would recommend it to everyone.

I love this frying pan. It is the second one I have purchased. Food cooks very nicely, nothing sticks to it, and it cleans very easily. The pan is well constructed - it is a heavy gauge aluminum which helps with heat distribution. The best part is that the non-stick surface is made of a ceramic coating which cannot leach into food, making it a healthy alternative to cook with. I highly recommend this product, and plan to purchase more in the future.
