I am very supportive of these new "green" pans, however the performance of these pans is not equal to the best traditional nonstick pans. The release on the surface needs more oil than my older nonstick pans, though not as much as a traditional surface. The heat distribution of these pans is nice and even, and the balance and weight is nice. The screw for the handle has come loose twice since I bought it.

I was very reluctant to buy this product, because some of the other reviews have been less than favorable. However, I am VERY happy with my new pan and plan to buy a couple more.

The non-stick coating is amazing. Everything slides off the pan so easily! In fact, it is better than Teflon, and it doesn't have all the dangerous chemicals that Teflon has.

I have noticed that other reviewers complained of their pans chipping after some time. I guess this doesn't surprise me, since the pan is ceramic and my ceramic plates often chip too. So, I'm a little more careful with this pan than other pans, but it has been absolutely fabulous! I would recommend it to everyone.

I love this frying pan. It is the second one I have purchased. Food cooks very nicely, nothing sticks to it, and it cleans very easily. The pan is well constructed - it is a heavy gauge aluminum which helps with heat distribution. The best part is that the non-stick surface is made of a ceramic coating which cannot leach into food, making it a healthy alternative to cook with. I highly recommend this product, and plan to purchase more in the future.

I just received this and I have only used it twice, but so far, I love it! It is VERY non-stick, almost nothing to clean up! I also have an induction cook-top and the pan works very well on the induction burners.

So far (about 2 months)this pan has been great. Nice weight and the coating is living up to it's non-stick billing. I have noticed a few small spots around the edges where it has chipped off. Could be rough handling on my part. I have to add however, that I don't know what Starfrit was thinking when they attached paper with nice graphics on the inside of the pan. Problem is is took me several hours of soaking and scrubing to remove this from the pan. A quick release adhesive would have been a more plesant experience.

I just love this frying pan. I wish I had been able to purchase a lid for it. Would highly recommend this pan. In the future am going to purchase more products made by Starfrit.

at first we were very excited about our new fy pan, we even order a second one; however, after 3 months of moderate use everything sticks to the pan! We are very unhappy.

I was looking for a larger fry pan for general use. It does everything I wanted plus more. Cooks evenly and comes out of the dishwasher like new!

While using this pan you may be happy, for a little while. Until all the coating wears off within days and it's just total garbage. I highly recommend NOT buying this

PRODUCT WAS DENTED WHEN I RECEIVED IT.DID NOT HAPPEN TRANSIT BECAUSE SHIPPING CARTON WAS PERFECT.WHOEVER PACKAGED THIS ITEM HAD TO BE AWARE OF DEFECT.
