I bought this frying pan for my sister as a Christmas gift. She mainly needed a new pan but wanted the color green. I found this one and chose it based on the color and the price. She loves it. It not only looks good but she has made me several things and it cooks evenly, doesn't stick to the pan. I will be getting one for myself soon. Good value for the price!

I know how good this skillet is. I bought a red starfrit 11 inch skillet at another store. It was a promotion and the skillet was $10.00 and it was a pretty red so I thought, why not try it. Well, I was more than satisfied with this skillet and I still use it but it isn't as pretty as it was so I decided to get me a new green Starfrit Skillet from Amazon while I could still find them without having to buy the whole set. Now here is what happened to my beautiful red skillet. My son, while I was gone, decided he would make a peach cobbler so he made it in my skillet and set it on low on the stove and then went to his room and went to sleep. When he woke up, guess what, there was a small mountain of black ash and a very hard black burnt spot in the middle of my skillet. I tried everything to clean it to no avail so I got a flat knife and started scraping it off. I thought my skillet would be ruined because I mean I had to do some heavy scraping on it but I can still use it and there is only some minor scratches on the surface. I will later try some of the other products like the light cast iron skillet but for now, I am just happy to get my identical skillet back except it is green instead of red but that is okay. I just want to say that this Starfrit Company definitely knows how to make a reliable product and I would give them 10 stars if there were that many. Thanks for caring about your products.
