This is an audiobook read by David Nykl aka Doctor Radek Zelenka on Stargate: Atlantis. And it's really great. It introduces a classic scifi plot - the crew of the Apollo encounters a new life form - that's emphasized through sound effects and atmospheric music. What I also liked was the fact that in this book, the differences between Zelenka and McKay became even more pronounced: where McKay raves and rages, Zelenka tries to convince and reason.

I loved the story read by david nykl. I am glad he decided to agree to read a book. He is. very good at portraiting others characters. Look forward to others.

Good story, Bad Reading,

I really likes Zelenka's character on SGA, but his reading of this audiobook is quiet hard to understand. It almost sounds like he is over exaggerating his Russian accent, which made the entire book very hard to understand. Many times I had to struggle to understand him, which lead to a frustrating hour or so while listening to this. I watched the show and he never uses that thick of an accent.The story of this novel is very good, just the reading is not.
