I am not a mother, but I play one in my house. About 20 minutes ago, I was handed my copy of Stark Raving Motherhood by the inimitable Jill Seale. I managed to read it in about 15 minutes, but it took 5 minutes for my sides to stop hurting after all the laughter.
Put simply, this is an amazing and amazingly funny book.
I recognized myself and my mother and my friends' mothers and my neighbors and so many people within the pages of this delightful book. If only real life were as funny as reading about it in Seale's fantastic book of cartoons and jokes.
If you have a mother or know a mother, you must get her this book. The brownie points you'll get for this gift will last you for years. Stark Raving Motherhood
