The First Ever BCR CD!! And not a bad place to start.,

Believe it or not, there was a time when only one Bay City Rollers CD existed. In 1989, this was an oasis in a Bay City Rollers CD desert. Who cared that the liner notes were in German?? Just to have the BCR on CD was enough. Though surpassed in sound quality and number of tracks by 2000's "The Definitive Collection" (U.S.), this disc contains songs that aren't on that version, like "Don't Stop The Music." Also, this has a random track sequence versus the chronologically compiled "Definitive Collection."I can only comment on these two compilations, as I've only bought those two, avoiding the zillion others that have been released worldwide. But still, it's not a bad place to start. If only we could get remastered versions of their individual albums - UK versions, please - I'd be a happy fan.

Since I have been collecting roller albums since the 1970's there isn't a song that I do not know, and there have been so many remix's, but this one has a little from every album, and the song choices to me are very pleasing--I just love "Where Will I Be Now", "It's a Game", "Summerlove Sensation" and since it is an import, it is an excellent addition to my collection.
