Although the Wendy Bellissimo line came out too late for us, I am already planning turning my son's nursery into a double for the next child. The Wendy Bellissimo line corresponds well with our Pottery Barn Kids bedding, and the colors I chose for my son's nursery which is how it got my interest. The quality of the fabric in person is beautiful, soft, and rich. Those who gave it low ratings have instead suggested some very low quality bedding that, quite frankly, does not compare on any level. And the fact that many of the items are slipcovered is a huge plus. My PBK bumpers are not. I contacted the Wendy Bellissimo company to find out what they were using different in the bedding to bring the prices down. They responded saying that this is the same fabric and bedding that was sold under the Bellissimo line before, but because of a partnership with BRU are able to sell it at a much lower price. Obviously, this is true in any case. You're going to make more selling at a mass retailer at an affordable price, than at a boutique not many can afford. This being said, lets face that this isn't the same very custom bedding that she did for top celebrities, and isn't using velvet in her BRU collections! I, a very particular shopper, plan on considering this line for my next child's bedding, and am looking forward to the Moses Basket, and the rugs that I've heard will be coming out. I hope this helps clear up some of the quality issues some people are having.

Personally, I felt that the online photos did not do it justice! I saw it in the store first and completely fell in love with it. When I saw it online later, I thought the photos made it look boring and the colors seemed dull. It really looks amazing in person. Quality-wise, I think it's one of the best that Babies 'R' Us has to offer and would compare it to the quality of Pottery Barn Kids, which is awesome. My opinion is that you get what you pay for, and this is very much worth it! Plus, all of the corresponding room accessories are also gorgeous and reasonably priced. I wanted something neutral and nothing cookie-cutter and cheesy! The presentation of this collection is very classy and elegant!

My husband and I want to keep our first baby's gender a secret so I had to find a nursery set that was gender neutral but didn't have teddy bears all over it. I was browsing at Babies R Us and was surprised to find this collection there. The sales person said it was a new line called Wendy Bellissimo. I found this collection called Starlight which is perfect for us. The colors are very soft and pale and not at all overwhelming, which I liked. The bumpers are all slipcovered too, which means washing the crib set is going to be very easy. I also really liked all of the coordinating accessories, especially the window treatments and child's chair slipcover. If you are looking for a non-gender specific nursery set, I highly recommend you take a look at this one. (The pictures on-line don't do it justice.)

My husband and I are expecting twins (a boy & a girl) and couldn't decide what we wanted to do with the nursery since they will be sharing a room. We came across this set by Wendy Bellissimo and knew it would be perfect for our boy & girl room. We purchased 2 of these cribs sets on-line and just received them and am thrilled!! The fabrics are so soft, especially the blanket. I really like all the accessories that are available to coordinate the rest of the room as well. I give this crib set 5 stars!

I am currently shopping for a crib set myself and happened upon this page for the Starlight Crib Set. I have read all the reviews and it seems the set was given either a 5 or a 1 and not much in between. I work at BRU and was excited when the Wendy line became exclusive to our company. For those of you who were expecting the $600+ quality for a $300 price, you are obviously disappointed. Realistically though, to make a crib set at half the price, you will have to use "cheaper" fabrics. Even still, this is a beautiful set as the 5-star reviews say. Now for the review that says its a "Kids II" brand, a lot of items at BRU are manufactured by one brand but sold under another. Kids II makes all the Baby Einstein toys...but most people don't know that. Would you buy diapers made by Proctor & Gamble? If you buy Pampers, then you do. My point is that this is truly a Wendy set but Kids II is a large company who has the resources to create this mass produced line. As for the color of this set, it wasn't meant to had bright, bold colors. That wasn't the idea. Its supposed to be soft, muted colors and I think the colors blend very well together. I'm not sure I will be purchasing this set since I am a big Winnie the Pooh fan but I thought I should put my two cents in to help the consumer who really wants this set and is confused by the other reviews.

I was not sure about purchasing this collection after reading several of the reviews on-line but went to the store to look at it myself and was pleasantly surprised. I loved the way the colors look. The blue could be a bit more blue, but I think all the colors blend beautifully together. I purchased this collection along with most of the accessories they had in the store (including the window treatments - which are fantastic)and started to put our nursery together this weekend. I'm really excited about how its all coming together and would definitely recommend this collection to someone who is looking for either a neutral collection or a collection for a boy (we're having our first boy in April).

I cannot even begin to explain how in love I am with this set. Before my husband and I knew what we were having, when we saw this set, we knew with either boy or girl this would be the bedding. We first saw it in the store. It is so soft and so absolutely beautiful. The pictures do no justice for how beautiful this bedding really is. I would pay twice this price for the quality and comfort I know my baby is going to experience in her little crib. We are 100% satisfied!

Even more beautiful in person. I love even more how practical this set is.... the bumpers are slipcovered for easy washing!! Definitely 5 stars.

For all of you reading, to be clear, we purchased the Starlight bedding. There are a few sets by Wendy Bellisimo and I think this one is the best. We looked everywhere for something without a "theme" and that was classy but found nothing until this set. It is not poorly made and the colors are very nice. (We are expecting a girl) The fabric does not feel cheap nor is the stitching uneven and the blanket is SO soft. My only complaint is the price but compared to the other sets we liked, all from boutiques, its not that bad. I am happy to spend an extra $100 to have a designer look.

I just received the Starlight crib set that I ordered on-line and I am so excited. The colors are perfect. They are beautiful pale colors. I didn't order any of the accessories yet because I was nervous about the price, but it is so worth it. The blanket is so soft. I'm going to order the rest of the available accessories now and can't wait to finish decorating our nursery.
