I have to completely disagree with the first reviewer's comments. There are many companies that manufacture 18" doll clothing and furniture. And just because they don't have the American Girl name, doesn't mean their products are in any way defective, of lesser quality, or "second rate". In fact, I have noticed that American Girl's quality has slipped a little recently, although their prices have stayed the same. And their prices are pretty darn expensive!

As a mother who watches her pennies, I would much rather get the best quality for the best price. I don't care about the brand. If you only shop at the American Girl Store, you will not only pay more money, you will be limiting your options because there are hundreds of beautiful outfits and furniture pieces being sold by independent sellers whose quality is as good if not better than American Girl.

This outfit in question is of very high quality, and is absolutely adorable! My daughter and I love it! We have several outfits from this company and they are all beautiful!

Also, there was no question in my mind what I was buying. The title says "Fits 18" American Girl Dolls". No bait and switch, no misleading. Nothing in this listing says that the outfit for sale was made by American Girl.

My niece absolutely loves this outfit! It fits perfectly on her AG doll. The sequin details on the shirt, bag, and jeans are just adorable. The denim material is surprisingly heavy weight and even has a snap and zipper closure. The bag is comparable to a hobo for adults and also has a zipper closure. The blouse is very sheer and lightweight. This is a great value compared to some of the other 18" doll clothes I've shopped for. Both my niece and I are very happy with this purchase."

Buyer Beware!
This advertisement of this doll clothing is misleading!
The clothing is not, I repeat NOT ORIGINAL AMERICAN GIRL DOLL CLOTHING! It is clothing that will fit the American girl doll only. I thought I was purchasing the original American Girl Doll Brand of clothing and that makes this very misleading.

I feel it is a case of BAIT AND SWITCH. THEY MIS LEAD YOU BY BAITING YOU MAKING YOU THINK YOU ARE BUYING ORIGINAL AMERICAN GIRL DOLL CLOTHING AND THEN YOU ARE DISAPOINTED WHEN YOU DON'T GET IT. THE CLOTHES. HAD I KNOWN THAT THEY WERE NOT ORIGINAL I WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT THEM. IF IT IS NOT THE ORIGINAL THEN I CONSIDER THEM SECOND RATE DOLL CLOTHING BUT I PAID THE PREMIUM PRICE AS IF I WERE BUYING THE ORIGINAL. SELLER SHOULD STATE CLEARLY THEY ARE NOT SELLING THE ORIGINAL AMERICAN GIRL DOLL CLOTHING BUT THAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO BUY DOLL CLOTHING THAT ONLY FITS THE AMERICAN GIRL DOLL.
