5.0 out of 5 stars Julie Plug rocks at SFSU, January 28, 2002

The first time I heard them this group was at a Variety Show from PACE at San Francisco State. The group got the whole audience on their feet (and that was just a couple of songs). The album is very good. It's a CD that I keep listening too. I just want to know what ever happened to the group?

5.0 out of 5 stars Say yes to the Band, say no to the record label., July 3, 2001

Julie Plug, where are you now?

A band that had and still has a chance to find a mainstream audience. But alas, this promising band had reached a dead end thanks to a record label that could not reach the masses. Top-shelf Band, bargain basement label.

5.0 out of 5 stars Upbeat, genuinely pretty pop. Recommended., July 6, 1998

One of those CDs that no one has ever heard of but everyone wants to borrow after they've heard a track or two. At times like Velocity Girl (but less punkish), at others like the Popinjays (but with more spunk), sometimes even like the Sundays (but with fewer British eccentricities). Highly recommended if you like upbeat, genuinely pretty pop music that would make an appropriate soundtrack for the green-grass-and-sunshine moments of your life.
