5.0 out of 5 stars Sassy, Light and Fun, January 27, 2000

(REAL NAME)
For those of you that are intrigued by your zodiac sign, but don't want to wade through pages of boring charts--this book is for you. It takes a more lighthearted approach to your "sign" but also gives it an interesting twist. I loved this book! In fact every copy of the book I have bought has been borrowed (a.k.a. stolen) by friends who just can't seem to remember to return it. Sly's mom certainly knows how to entertain you!

5.0 out of 5 stars The number 1 book of an astrology library., December 23, 2007
By
MTC (deansboro, ny) - See all my reviews
This book is more than zodical hocus-pocus and diamantiferous lala from Southern Cal.
Stallone offers a down-to-earth and powerful introduction to astrological thought, and will teach the reader in clear terms how ancient mythology may still enlighten us on our person.
Stallone is a profoundly talented astrologist.
Her sobriety - anchored in the depths of Western civilization's lost knowledge of the 4 elements - keeps her intent on examining the roots of the person other than professing prophecy.
Astrology is not about numbers (or dates) but of relationships (or elements).
Although her style is swollen with colloquial elbow-nudges and too much ease, and the book is wrapped in LA glam, let her tone of the quick-tongued and loving mother with pinnacle 'esprit de finesse' guide you calmly through the magisterial and dark doors of our other, and lost, mode of thinking.
Her vision of the year's sun-cycle and its impact on personality patterns is limpid, simple and vast; science enough to quake any tight-lipped intellectual.
The indispensable, number 1 book of an astrology library.

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful and entertaining!, December 5, 2000
I love this book so much that after reading it years ago, I still want to read it again because it's so entertaining with an astrological and psychic twist. I have been studying astrology for years and have never read a book that brings people together by matching their decans!
