I am a professional Trumpet player and teacher. This is the best Valve Oil I have ever used. Super fast acting, long lasting, and very little scent. I have used pretty much every brand of oil and 5 Starr always seems to perform the best. They just have the right formula.

I like getting the blue oil for my students because it is sort of a safety "don't drink me" color -- although with blue Gatorade I guess that's no longer the case. Also, compared to other colored oils, 5 Starr will NOT stain your valves.

All of the 5 Starr products are great. They also make a great lube-all for tuning slides. Everything is made in the USA too.

ITS NOT EVEN BLUE!!!!
its practically frickin clear and it looks like someone but blue food coloring in it....

oh and it squirts out wayyy to fast, it feels like im drowning my valves in it.... amazon sucks for buying valve oil, never ordering again
