This contact/noncontact portable tachometer is used for measuring the speed of motors, conveyor belts, and other moving and rotational systems. It can measure rotational speed, linear speed, count, and time for versatility. The tachometer provides contact measurements in in./min, ft./min, yd./min, m/min, or cm/min, and noncontact measurement in rpm for flexibility of use. Its optical sensor is a laser beam that works at a distance of up to 25 feet for user safety.
