ive never heard of Alcyone before but after listening to this album, i think theyve gained a listener and a fan ! its really perfect to listen to during the drive back after a night of clubbing. smoothed out sounds, very atmospheric and sophisticated. im digging the voice of the singer as well. im assuming this is their debut and i think its a great start hopefully i can get to see them live as well. recommended to those who like layed back chilled beats with female vocals !

Music to chill by??????????,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Stars Are Real (Audio CD)
One of tracks from this CD is on a yoga recording so I thought I'd give it a shot. Well, this is a far from meditation music as you can get, but I love it. More like turn up the volume and take a hike at a nice clip.... If this is chill music... I'd really like to know what those youngsters listen to to get their heart rate up, lol...then again, maybe not. P.S, everyone I've shared this with loves it.

Psychedelic to Spacey,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Stars Are Real (Audio CD)
Very Techo - Electro - to New Age-y - Spacey says it best [Uh! check the title]
Does have a beat - I would not call this dance music Very Mellow and the vocals don't clash When I listen to anything I listen with open skepticism [Just so you know where I'm coming from] At first listen I ignored any lyrics - I just treated the singers voice as another instrument. Really liked it - instead of moving on the the next new one in the stack - I gave it another listen. Reminds me of Dr. Fiorella Terenzi's "Music of the Galaxies" but more melodic and rhythmic. Signing off - the saucer is waiting.
