Stars,Cars and Infamy:100 Stories of the Bad,the Daft and the Deadly.I was able to checkout the book and I will probably add it to my collection soon,My compliant would be it seems it is written for a Non-American Audience and in a British Prose but quirky and funny at times and sometimes some stories are uncalled for,the stories are short usually 1-2 pages and that includes the spread, and usually not even the vehicle that is part of the story is included. Stories that have been heard/told/read before others I have not known about,I did like the Facel Vega Mid engine(which features only a drawing rumored the only prototype was stolen)that looks like the GT40 but Chrysler powered, there are not many American stories a few. There is an interesting story on the Monica which was a Car that never made it and also on a failed Mini Project among others,It's just to quick of a read and of a browse, worth checking out first.

This book is a great conversation starter. Just place it on your coffee table and you'll see. Martin Buckley's prose is at times hilarious and at others droll and scathing. You will not be disappointed by this fantastic book. You MAY however be disappointed by the quality of the book. My wife purchased the book for my birthday (the perfect gift!) and we were slightly confused when we opened it for the first time. My copy arrived with chapter five bound upside down and backwards! Oh well, chalk it up to British quirkiness.
